Executive Benefits Package With Homeland Prepaid Visa

The Homeland Prepaid Visa Debit Card (issued by Four Oaks Bank and Trust) is a prepaid credit card with a real difference. It comes packaged with what the issuers call an "Executive Benefits Package" that each customer gets when he or she signs up for the card. Basically, the Executive Benefits Package is a membership that gives preferred members (cardholders) various ways to save on purchases, health care and roadside assistance costs, making it comparable to many gold cards.

Typical of most prepaid credit cards, the Homeland Prepaid Visa Debit Card charges a single application and fee and processing fee when you apply for the card. The one time application fee is $59.95 and is non-refundable. There is also a one time processing fee of $90.00. There is a minimum of ten dollars that must be loaded when the card is initially purchased. In total, it will cost $159.95 to establish the card. This charge is debited from the card owners bank account. The standard monthly fee is $8.90.

One of the great advantages of a prepaid Homeland Prepaid Visa Debit card is the many various ways in which the card can be loaded. Homeland Visa allows all methods permitted by law. Homeland Visa accepts direct deposit from employers, with no limit as to the amount that may be loaded to the card. The Homeland Visa can also accept funds from another credit or debit card, though there is usually a one day lag in transfer time. ACH transfers, transfers from bank checking or savings accounts, and postal service money orders can also be used to add funds to the card and typically take five business days to post.

Typical debit card charges apply to the Homeland Prepaid Visa Debit card. There is a one dollar charge for each time the card is loaded with additional funds. There is a fifty cent charge for each time the card is used to make purchases. Some load limits do apply. There is no limit to the amount that an employer can direct deposit to the card, but there is a minimum of twenty five dollars and a maximum of five hundred dollars that can be loaded from a bank account. The card can not be loaded more than ten times a week (or twice in any day) and never for more than one thousand five hundred dollars in a single day or five thousand dollars weekly.

The Homeland Visa will work as a regular debit card for getting ATM withdrawals or merchant "cash back" offers. There is a maximum of three hundred dollars per day for cash withdrawal. There is also a fifty dollar limit per merchant cash back transaction. The card carries a one dollar fifty cent ATM withdrawal fee.
